Sales and Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team!

Walter Morris Company, a highly recognized New England sales rep agency of Plumbing and Heating Products, has an open position for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.

Summary

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator shall be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns. This person will be involved at all levels of the marketing process and will collaborate with internal teams, manufactures, distributors, and customers. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a direct role in the management of the company’s external communication, image, and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Design, update, and distribute marketing collateral including:
    • Brochures
    • Proposals
    • Sell Sheets
    • Fliers
    • Forms
    • Email Blasts
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Manage co-op marketing spreadsheets and process invoices and other paperwork for reimbursement
  • Manage marketing activities of customer sponsorships (golf events, open houses, counter days)
  • Submit material for print advertising
  • Manage social media pages (posting content daily) on Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Create and manage YouTube content (posting content bi-weekly)
  • Create new and update existing web content
  • Plan trade shows, customer events, and meetings
  • Organize and inventory show supplies and product samples
  • Coordinate, develop, and deliver email blasts
  • Maintain inventory of product brochures
  • Assist with the coordination of sales meetings
  • Develop and update sales and marketing presentations
  • Develop and update flyers, handouts, and forms

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or creative services
  • Proficient in:
    • WordPress
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Adobe Suite (Acrobat Editor, Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign)
    • Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Calendar, Drive)
    • TechSmith Camtasia
    • Constant Contact and email marketing best practices
    • Social media and email marketing best practices
  • Effective time management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to think creatively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented with a focus on continued improvement
  • Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC industry preferred
